Privacy Policy

The short version

• Loftia Pal works without an account, and there isn't one to make. Everything you tick is saved on your own phone or computer.
• We don't collect your name or email, we don't give your device an ID, and we don't use cookies or analytics.
• We don't show ads, and we don't sell or rent anyone's data.
• To delete everything: Settings → Reset everything, or clear the site's data in your browser.

On your device

Your launch checklist, the residents you've starred or met, the Discord servers and streamers you've starred, and your settings (light or dark) are stored in your browser or the app on your device. The app also keeps its own files and the last copy of Social's news, streams and servers there, so it works offline. None of it leaves your device.

A backup you save, and the calendar file for launch day, are made on your device and go wherever you choose to save or share them. Restoring a backup reads it on your device too.

What our server sees

Social's news, streams and Discord servers come from our server, which fetches them from Steam, Twitch and Discord. News pictures and server icons are passed through our server too, so your device only ever talks to Loftia Pal (and Google Fonts, below), never to those sites, until you open a link.

Like any website, our host receives each request your device makes, including your IP address and browser type, in its standard logs. We don't use them to identify anyone, and the host deletes them after a short time.

People and servers we show

Social shows public information that others chose to make public: a live Loftia stream's channel name, title and viewer count from Twitch, and a Discord server's name, icon, description and member count from its invite link. A streamer or server that would rather not be shown can ask at hello@paliapal.com and we'll take them off.

If you email us

When you write to hello@paliapal.com (for example to list your Discord server or feature your stream), we keep your email so we can reply and do what you asked. We don't add you to any mailing list. Ask us any time to delete it.

Services we use

We don't share personal information for advertising. These companies help run Loftia Pal:

• Vercel: hosting (see What our server sees).
• Google Fonts: your browser loads the app's fonts from Google, which sees your IP address.

Links to other sites (Loftia's official site, Steam, Twitch, Discord servers, social media) follow those sites' own privacy policies.

Children

Loftia Pal doesn't ask anyone for personal information. If you're under 13, please don't email us personal details; if a child has, email hello@paliapal.com and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Since everything else stays on your device, that's at most an email you sent us. Write to hello@paliapal.com. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information, as those words are used in the CCPA.

Changes

Loftia Pal will grow (accounts and sharing may come later). Before anything new keeps information about you, this policy will say so, the date at the top will change, and the app's What's new will mention it.
